The spike is sturdy enough that it stays put in my garden bed, and it’s nice to finally have my camera off the porch railing. I just wish the mount tilted a bit more once it’s pushed into the soil, since I had to reposition the whole thing to get my angle right. Works fine for a flat area, though.
