Finally got around to swapping out the old adapter for my lightstrip and it's just so much cleaner, the white casing blends right in with the wall. Charges up my gradient tube without any flicker, exactly what I needed.
The plug fits snugly into the wall and the cord is long enough that I could finally position my lightstrip where I wanted it without an extension cord. It's the exact white finish I needed to match the rest of my setup and has been working flawlessly for over a month now.
Finally a proper adapter for the Signe lamp that doesn't feel like it's about to melt. The white casing matches the light perfectly and it clicks in securely, no more wobbling connection. Plugged it into the Play gradient tube too and it's been rock solid for three weeks straight.
